Changing up the facial treatment with Vitamin C serum and ageless face cream

I’m starting to see wrinkles around my lips. Not just my eyes – my lips! As my next Big Birthday is around the corner, I decided to upgrade my facial care to slow down the Train of Time barreling through the Tunnel of Aging.

As I have sensitive skin, I keep my nightly routine simple. I've noticed the more layers I put on my face, the dryer it gets. So I usually wash my face with a gentle cleanser, then smooth on an eye cream and a retinol face cream mixed with a couple drops of rosehip oil. It worked great until I noticed the fine line (just one so far!) around my upper lip. Then I examined the skin on my face. It actually felt a little rough and dry, and looked tired. I figured it’s time to step up on my nightly routine. I decided to start with three CBD-infused items: Ultra Eye Cream, Vitamin C Serum, and Ageless Care Cream with Orange.

CBD Ultra Eye Cream

This cream replaced the eye cream I was using. It is infused with the goodness from alfalfa seed, jojoba oil and avocado oil, plus retinol and CBD. After cleaning the eye makeup off and washing my face with a gentle cleaner, I dab a little on the skin around each eye, and gently pat until the cream is absorbed.

CBD Vitamin C Serum

I wasn’t using a serum for my night routine, so this was a new start. I had read that vitamin C and hyaluronic acid can do wonderful things to the skin. Hyaluronic acid plumps and smooths the skin to reduce wrinkles, and vitamin C brightens the skin by combating free radicals and boosting collagen production.  I apply this thick and slippery CBD-infused serum on clean skin, including the neck, décolleté, and the back of my hands (your hands betray your age, no matter how youthful your face looks! Trust me – it’s worth it). I let it absorb for a few minutes before applying the next layer, the face cream.

Ageless Care Cream with Orange

I used this cream next instead of the retinol cream I was using before. Made with CBD, orange stem cells, avocado oil, aloe, jojoba oil, and a host of vitamins including B3, B5, C, E and B6, this cream promotes cell regeneration for healthy skin. The cream is thick and brings intense moisture to dry skin. I apply the cream to all the areas where I applied the serum. After smoothing that on, I go to bed and let all the creams do their job to invigorate my skin throughout the night.

After using for a week, I saw and felt the results. My face starts to look brighter. The freckles appear to have faded somewhat. Fine lines and saggy dry skin have been reduced. When I smile or squint for the mirror in daylight, I see reduced laugh lines – the few lines emanating from the corner of my eye – but not bags or fine lines under the eyes. My skin feels much smoother and tighter. When I apply makeup during the day, my skin doesn’t look dry towards the afternoon.

My review on these three items is two enthusiastic thumbs up! Let me know what your experience is.
